Tips for Brides
- Time is of the essence on your wedding day, so it's really helpful if everyone having their make-up done removes all make-up before I arrive.
- I will provide you with a make-up product list at your trial so you can buy the lipstick that you may need to top up during the day or evening.
- Try not to have a facial only a few days before your wedding, as it may bring out underlying pimples. I always advise brides to have a facial about a week before if you are going to.
- If you do break out just before the wedding, don't panic I will be at hand, but please don't squeeze or use harsh products to try and get rid of them as this will just make things worse.
- Have some straws handy for you, your mum and the bridesmaids, if you have drink while you are at home, so that your lips make up won't get ruined!
- Many brides wear very natural make up, but be careful not to go too natural, otherwise, when you have your pictures taken your face will look washed out.
- A pink toned blusher will give you a more natural and fresh look whereas a terracotta one will make you look more sophisticated. If you don't suit pink tones go for peach.
- Natural light is always the best for day make up. Place your self facing a big window for the best lighting.
